1. Current website systems

The website uses connected hosting, authentication, and database services. Information submitted through the contact form, newsletter form, signup, or login interface may be transmitted to and stored by Methodical Trades and its service providers for the purposes described below.

2. Information you may choose to provide

Information may include your name, email address, support message, newsletter preference, selected subscription track, billing choice, and account details needed to provide and secure the service. Payment collection is not currently active.

3. Technical information

The hosting infrastructure processes standard request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and request time.

Methodical Trades keeps its own record of website activity so that the site can be improved: the page requested, the site that linked to it, the time spent on the page, clicks on links that lead away from the site, and the country, region and city the request came from. The IP address itself is not stored. Two values derived from it are: one that changes every day, which groups the pages of a single visit together, and one that does not, which allows a repeat visit from the same network to be recognised so that interest in the service can be measured. Neither can be read back to an address or to a name, and neither is combined with any other source. This record is kept for twelve months and then deleted. A browser that sends a Do Not Track signal is not recorded at all.

No advertising trackers, advertising pixels, or third-party profiling tools are used.

4. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. A session cookie keeps you signed in to your account and is removed when you sign out. During checkout, the payment provider sets its own cookies on its own domain to process the transaction and prevent fraud.

No cookie is used for advertising, profiling, or website analytics. The activity record described above sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser, which is why this site does not ask you to accept cookies. Should that change, consent will be requested before any such cookie is set.

5. How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure accounts, maintain newsletter signup records, respond to support messages, prepare subscriptions for launch, meet legal obligations, and improve website reliability. Newsletter email delivery and paid billing are not yet active.

6. Sharing

Information is processed by service providers supporting hosting, authentication, and database storage. Additional providers for email delivery, payments, analytics, security, or customer support may be added as those services are activated, and this policy will be updated where required.

7. Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described, legal requirements, security, and dispute handling. Access controls and other reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You may ask about information associated with your email address, request correction or deletion where applicable, or unsubscribe from the weekly newsletter using the method provided in each email. Use the contact form for privacy requests.

9. Children

The website and trading-recommendation service are not directed to children. Do not submit personal information if you are not legally able to use the service in your jurisdiction.

10. Updates and contact

This policy will be revised as the service develops, including before payment, analytics, or newsletter-delivery providers begin processing information where an update is required. Use the contact form for privacy questions; the team replies within 2 business days.
